Become a BioPathways Learning Leader

Learning Leaders are the educators shaping how Ohio students connect science to careers. You test curriculum, support workshops, and help build the BioPathways network, all while deepening your own expertise and expanding your professional reach.

What Learning Leaders do

  • Teach and test: Implement BioPathways lessons in your classroom and share what you learn with the program.
  • Support workshops: Facilitate or attend BioPathways workshops and help other educators get started.
  • Build connections: Engage with Ohio Life Sciences industry partners and peer educators across the state.
  • Grow the network: Recruit peers, post on social media, and help shape the next cohort of Learning Leaders.

What Learning Leaders receive

  • Full sponsorship to SECO (registration, hotel, travel reimbursement)
  • Eligibility for paid facilitation, curriculum development, and conference presentation opportunities
  • Connections with Ohio Life Sciences industry professionals
  • Recognition on the BioPathways website and in the OLS and Workforce newsletter
  • Optional attendance at InnoHealth in Columbus
